We have a team arriving today, in a couple of hours. They are from Bakersfield, CA. They will only be here for a short time (1 week). The project is located in General Luna, about a 6 to 7 hour drive from here.

The setting will be pretty rural, so I'm not sure if I will have Internet or not. If not, I will post my daily updates when I get back next Friday.

This trip will be a little different than other trips, Karen and the girls are coming with me! We'll see how it goes... One of my desires is that my girls can join me on trips like this and see God at work through the team. So, hopefully all goes well. I've been warned that taking the kids could make things hard. Please pray for us that that will not be the case.

It's been a few days since the Bakersfield team left... 17 to be exact, and I thought it was about time to post a recap of our trip.  Sorry that it has taken me so long to do this!  Several factors have played a part in this impediment, but it's mainly my procrastination of the inevitable.  It was hard for me to get motivated enough to go through 800 pictures and pare them down to a reasonable amount.  

I've also been writing a daily blog on Facebook tracking my daily devotions.  That's been a great experience, but it has also been taking a lot of my "blogging time", which in turn affects my website...  

So those are my excuses as to why I
